Tactile Anatomy


With Tactile Anatomy, Simurghy introduces the next step in surgical anatomy: recreating actual 3D anatomy.
Technical advancements make it possible to have a much better understanding of the exact surgical anatomy preoperatively. Three-dimensional reconstruction of medical imaging allows drawing a surgical plan to address the anatomical variabilities and enhance outcomes.

Accurate Models

Our Tactile Anatomy models are highly accurate 3D representation of specific anatomical structures used in the training and planning of the technically most demanding parts of complex surgical procedures.

Procedure-specific

The Tactile Anatomy product range includes customized models for specific procedures. Examples of the options include Mitral Valve, Papillary Muscle and Aorta replicas that offer a realistic suturing experience for training purposes.

Patient-specific

Simurghy developed pathways to create accurate patient-specific 3D prints of cardiovascular and thoracic structures, based on 3D image reconstruction. Patient-specific Tactile Anatomy is available for all Simurghlator products. Models can also be 3D printed on site using our Tactile Anatomy Creator.

Tissue-like Materials

Simurghy created specific materials that resemble the tissue characteristics for surgical simulation. Both the generic Tactile Anatomy and the 3D printed patient-specific Tactile Anatomy benefit from our custom material properties.

Integrated Use

Our Tactile Anatomy models were created to be used for training and preparation in our Simurghlator (Connect) product range.

Tactile Anatomy

Our Tactile Anatomy product range comprises of generic and patient-specific 3D printed models. Tactile Anatomy models are compatible with their respective Simurghlator Module and Simurghlator Connect.

Our generic Tactile Anatomy models have been recreated using specific materials that mimic specific human tissue characteristics.
